Overview

PalcoTimer offers different screens for different needs. Each screen can be opened on a separate device and all are synchronized in real-time.

Controller

The Controller is PalcoTimer's main screen. It's where you:

  • Create and edit timers
  • DocsOutputs.controller.features.configureMessages
  • Control playback (play, pause, stop, next, previous)
  • Access links to other screens
  • DocsOutputs.controller.features.configureRoom

Only authenticated users have access to the Controller. It's the only screen that requires login.

Operator

The Operator is a simplified version for those who only need to control playback. Ideal for:

  • Video/audio operators
  • Stage technicians
  • Production assistants

Offers large Play/Pause/Stop buttons, timer navigation, quick time adjustment, and Blackout/Flash/Focus controls.

Viewer

The Viewer is the screen the speaker sees. It displays:

  • Fullscreen timer with phase colors
  • Timer name and speaker
  • DocsOutputs.viewer.features.operatorMessages
  • Progress bar
Dica para OBS
Use the ?background=transparent parameter in the URL for transparent background in OBS Studio.

Agenda

The Agenda displays the complete timer list with estimated times. Ideal for:

  • Reference monitors for the team
  • Backstage information screen
  • Event overview

Highlights the current timer and shows each item's progress.

Moderator

The Moderator focuses on message and question management. It allows:

  • Send and hide messages quickly
  • DocsOutputs.moderator.features.moderateQuestions
  • View the current timer

Sharing Links

Each screen has a unique URL that can be shared. In the Controller, click "Links" to see all available URLs.

Links use the room's short code (e.g., ABC123), making sharing easy.

You can password-protect links in Room Settings. That way, only those with the password can access.
